Remarks
As the college is a National Institute of Technology, srudents need to clear Jee Mains in order to take admission. The form for which is released by josaa and conduct the exam too. Not only clearing but also securing a good rank is required in order to persue B.Tech here. As all other NITs reservation for GEN -EWS, OBC , SC ,ST is provided. Other than that 50% seats are reserved for Home state students and there is some reservation for girl students too. Admission process is simple and clear to most students.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the 1st year all branch students are taught all the subjects and from the 2nd year onwards the specialization course starts. The facilities are quite qualified and mostly pHd degree holders. Also there is no lack of faculty as such. In the online mode two MCQ exams and an End semester exam along with viva was conducted.
Internships Opportunities
The institute has a internship and Training cell to provide intership opportunities to students. Students from the institute have bagged internships at international level like MIT Boston and UC Birkley and many more and also at National level in IITs, IISERs, ISRO DRDO and various leading MNCs.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good here and increasing every year. Around 90 companies visited the institute in 2021 and around 600 offers were given. The abg package of the institute was 9.7 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered was of 62 lakhs per annum and the company offering the placement was Bite Dance. I too am looking forwars to grab the placement opportunities after my B.Tech degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
138000 is the fee for 4 years B.Tech, however relaxation is given to srudents according to there income. Students with annual income 5 lakhs and above need to pay the complete fee. Students with annual income 1 to 5 lakhs have relaxation of 2/3 tution fee. And students having annual income below 1 lakh get full tution fee remission.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite good. There are numerous clubs and committee here for overall development of the students. The library is quite big and students can access and find all the needed study material. The fests are good too. The annual fest Electika scheduled in spring. Other than this, other fests like tech fests are also organised. The sports facilities are good. Enough space is provided to the students and the Institute is quite good in some sports, takes part in inter college sports fests.
