I qualified to jee Main to take admission in this college, I scored 180 out of 300 in jee mains, I opt this college because its placement is increasing every year. At my rank of 25k as a general student, this is the best college I got.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am interested in core jobs as well as software companies' jobs. The faculty are well qualified and the students ratio is 1:4( girls and boys). Semester exams are held timely and are easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like google postman Goldman sacs and tata provide internships from the 5th semester onwards some are paid, while some are non-paid internships. Stipend ranges from 8-10k per month. If you are looking for an internship make one to two projects in your academic years.
Placement Experience
This is a placement college, from electrical approx 85 percent students got placed, some of the students go for higher studies and some for gate preparation, here is the best thing about college that even if you are not from CS branch still you can get placed in software companies, Avg package of college is 10lpa And for electrical avg package is 9lpa The highest package was 62 lakh by google this year, companies like tata steel, Infosys, and Larsen turbo frequently visited and offers good packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay 8lakh for the whole course including the hostel. But if you are from EWS or SC/St you can fee remission. According to me the fee is affordable. No such scholarships are provided by the college, but you can apply for the national scholarship program the government.
Campus Life
College annual event cultural fest is electika, other fest like shruti, are organised throughout the year,where famous celebrity are invited, technical fest is is aavartan where you get to see projects and models created by huge amount of students,any student can participate.books are sufficient in Library.classes are well equipped. Also clubs like nrityam, shaurya are there which organises various debates and discussion.
Hostel Facilities
Nit Raipur has limited seats in a hostel, seats are limited here, in 1st year you are allotted a hostel on your rank and distance from college but plenty of there are nearby colleges that are at an affordable rate. Mess food quality is decent on some days of the week while bad on some days but canteen are there inside campus so you will manage.
