Remarks
We have to complete Higher secondary education to avail eligibility to join this course. I didn't take any entrance exams to join this college. I was admitted to this college by my 12th cut off. I checked about this college on the internet and it was verified that the placement will be good. So I applied for this college. My cut off is 192.75. I got admitted to this college by TNEA. I don't see any difficulties in the current admission process. I was admitted to the general category since my cutoff was high.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it has high scope for getting a job at the time of course completion. The faculty-student ratio is maintained well here and there are qualified professors taking classes. They taught us in a unique manner which helped the students to learn easier. Most of the time, they teach practically and relate the subject with its current application in society. The exams were conducted as per the university rules and regulations. Since they taught us practically, it was not difficult to pass examinations.
Placement Experience
The placements are good in my college. The students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. There are many companies including Capgemini, virtusa, HCL, IBM, and Zoho visited our campus and everyone in our course has at least one offer. The highest package is 16LPA which was offered by Pega systems for 6 students. The percentage doesn't count in the placements. Only performance is counted for getting placed in a company. I am placed in the Bank of America IT sector with a package of 6.45LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I joined, the fees structure was lower than the current fees structure. In the case of day scholars, the transport fee is compulsory. If the student has a high cut off, he/she can be availed of a scholarship. Many companies are approaching the college for placements. Most of them are IT companies. They offer the students a minimum of 3LPA.
Campus Life
College life is pretty good when compared to other colleges. The annual fest called "Takshashila" takes place every year in February. Due to the pandemic, it will be conducted in May this year. Also, tech fests for every department will be conducted during the month of September. There is a large number of books available in the library. Every year, they conduct sports day to encourage the students in various fields. There are many social groups including NCC, TedXCITetc for the students to enhance their abilities in extracurricular activities,

Yes, you will be able to get admission to the BE CSE course of Chennai Institute Of Technology with that cut-off in the second or third round of counseling. Please check the cut-off for the respective rounds to have a better understanding from Chennai Institute Of Technology Cut-off.
