Remarks

Admission process is smooth through jossa and csab counseling on basis of jee main ranks and no improvement is required in admission process. The admission process is online and documents are also verified online

The term exams were on time as the schedule given by the Institute the end sem exam occured after 3 months due to delay in admission process but the exam occured smoot through online mode due to prevailing covid conditions

The companies like Goldman Adobe nvidia accenture tcs intuit infoedge American Express capgemini commovault byju tekion jio ericcson etc comes in campus placement The company visiting increase after each year passes it is a central government college so you'll definitely get placement.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is quite good as it is a new college as per 2020 data average package is 7.2 lpa with placement percentage of 75 and highest package offered is 20 lpa and in offcampus it is more students are getting internship in 3 rd year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is some where high around 10 lakhs and no financial assistance is given by college you should apply for respective state scholarship or you can opt for education loans at low interest as it is a institution of national importance

Campus Life

Honestly speaking the college don't have permanent campus as is the case with the every new iiits There are many clubs like technical sports cultural etc All sports are available except basketball The temporary campus is somewhat good as it is a new college

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are provided as flats which are well furnished and are provided with table chairs and fan and bed The mess food is somewhat good and adjustable the hostel is nearer to the college and affordable

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Choose Future, not Present

I had several other options like NIT Hamirpur, NIT Durgapur, BITS Pilani etc... Now in all the tier 2 nits i would have got either metallurgy or civil at the best but in BITS Pilani i could've got ENI but the fees there was 33 lkh for all the 4 years so it was not affordable for me. This was the best option keeping in mind my rank, roi and fees. You can get here by applying for jossa or csab after you have given jee mainsa and you will get a seat if you get good rank....Read More
