Honey Goyal's Review On S D College, Barnala

I have mixed remarks about my college as faculty was awsome they were really brilliant but still no company visited our college for placement. I dont know why. there could be many reasons for that may be the city is small and govt and private institutions are not facilitating it to move further or may the management is not doing anything in this regard.

No enterance examination was held at our college at that time. I generally opted for commerce as some of my known persons advised me to opt commerce.

There were a lot of subjects and all subjects were compulsary at that time such as accounts, theory and practice of commerce, statistics, economics, maths ets.

No company came to our college for recruitment or internship. I had never seen that any company had ever visited our college for recruitment purpose.

Placement and job oppurtunities were none at that time. As i had already told that no company has ever visited our college for recruitment.

A lot of cultural programs were held at that time.and they were really big too. As so many different college participate in them as our college organises youth festival every year cultural programs were held in them.

Fee was not expensive it was rather feasible a lot of students who belong to poor family were given special discounts on fee. They were charged very less.

No i dont know anything about any scholarship or loan facility provided by our college. I had never heard about such thing.

College canpus life was really very good.we enjoyed a lot at that time gender ratio was almost equal a lot of sports competitions were held in our college.moreover our college participate in various sports too.

Hostel facility was not provided at that time.generally students were of local areaor nearby places. So it was not needed to provide hostels at that time and the mess' i would rather say canteen' was awsome. Good food was provided there.

Almost every one was satisfied by our college. They had no complaints seniors were very helpful to there juniors. I had very good experience with my seniors. they were always very helpful to me i had never faced any problem with them.

Exams were held on quaterly basis, labs were not very frequent nor the exams were days were not hectic, they were rather chilled out.

Faculty of our college was awsome at that time. Very reputated teachers we had at that time even some of our teachers were writers themselves very understanding and helpful always ready to help students.they used to teach us in extra classes too.
