Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I want to be a surgeon. My class has around 150 students and around 28 faculty in each department. It is a good college with a lot of patient load. Hence the exposure is good. the teachers are very nice and they teach us a lot from clinics to academics. The college conducts semester exams every 3-month interval and at the end of the year, University conducts MBBS professional exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very feasible and affordable for all category students. Books and practical notebooks are very costly. Some students do get scholarships based on their merits. I belong to the general category and I do get a scholarship of around 30k from the ministry of the minority. A scholarship is enough to pay college fees. We also get a stipend of 28k per month during the internship period.
Campus Life
ACCOLADE is the annual fest of our college. Every year it is conducted by the students union in November. During college week they conduct various competitions like sports, songs, dance, etc. In the library most medical books are available. Many of the students are involved in various social groups like NMO, and the State sports clubs. I also joined NMO INDIA.
Hostel Facilities
We have a total of 3 hostels. Boys and girls have separate hostels inside the same campus. I stay in a double bedroom. Rooms are very clean, most importantly some rooms have AC. In the mess, they provide both nonvegetarian and vegetarian foods. Those students who don't get a hostel stay in nearby pg but very costly.
