Remarks

College should not think about money. They would earn money eventually. They should think about education and providing a good faculty.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE Scored 104 Marks. Then I did not get any college. My Cousin was studying in that college so I took admission in the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

It was ok ok at that time. I did not study much. Just used to study in exams and got passed. Course was never tough. It was the subjects which were more than 5 in each semester

Internships Opportunities

I went to AAI for internship. No stipend was given but internship was good. Got to learn alot and the environment wa very good. It was in ECE so very useful for me.

Placement Experience

0.5

Did not get any company in college. So I started preparing for Govt jobs and got in PNB clerk. Then I joined infosys and still working in infosys ltd Bangalore.

College Events

2

Just used to go to college on events and competitions. Used to manage the functions and took part in some of them. I used to do nukkad nataks so it was fun there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. I had to pay 72000 per annum which is very high for a middle class person. It should be reduced to atleast 35000 per annum. It should be like Govt college fee everywhere.

Fees and Financial Aid

No Loans or scholarship facility in college even they use to take thousands of attendance fine they just wanted to earn money and nothing else.

Campus Life

1.5

Library and computer lab were the same thing. Cricket and football and basket ball had the same ground so no hopes to play good games. Broken TT tables and no gym in te college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel was never cleaned up and mess food was adul, trated. They use to mix water and milk in front of us. It was pretty expensive too.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were good abu they also did not find any good job. College arranges for alumni meet after two years in which we also have to go and pay 2000 rs per head.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is not good. We had 2 exams per day and sudden changes in the date sheet so it was pretty annoying.

Faculty

1.5

Really very bad. Almost uneducated. They were pursuing m.tech from the same college. They were never able to answer our questions and used to show like they were very intelligent.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
