I applied to many colleges and wrote many entrance exams but still, I was in a dilemma of selecting a college to study B.tech. Then my cousin suggested Vignan University and I wrote VSAT and got selected. So without any second thought, I went to counselling and joined Vignan with Merit Scholarship.

As I was curious about how data is stored, how data is transferred from one place to another place, how those chips are made and wanted to learn new technologies, I opted for this course. Our faculty are from IITs & NIT and they teach well. We have 6 weekends and 3 mid exams in a semester.

From 3-2 or 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements. We get companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, HCL, IBM, Infosys and so many.90% of students are placed every year. I was planning to get a job in core companies.

The fee for the btech ECE course is 2lakhs per annum. As I was a hostler, hostel fees are 1lakh per annum for Non A/C and for A/C 1.25lakhs per annum. We have scholarships in various forms like based on intermediate merit, based on jee mains percentile, based on eamcet score and Vsat score. Also based on our financial conditions we can get some concessions.

There are so many fests in our college. One of those is Vignan Mahotsav which is conducted once 3 years and it was the biggest fest which is conducted for 3 days. And we have Srujanankura which is conducted every year. It is a tech fest. And we have a Department fest, which is called VOICE for the ECE department. We have a Central Library and many clubs under a division called SAC. We have sports fests every year. We have many extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, E-cell, and Civil Services coaching.

We have a very good girls' hostel on our campus. We have a total of 5 blocks in the hostel. One is the main block and one a/c block and the other 3 blocks. The rooms are good and maintain hygiene. There is ground inside the hostel and we have medical facilities. The mess area is big and maintained well. The quality of food is very good. Finally, it is very comfortable with all facilities.
