Remarks
To be eligible for admission one appears for NEET-UG and must qualify cut off score. After the NEET-UG results, the state government releases a merit list and counselling is done based on this merit list. The application form is available offline in the college. For the state quota, 85% of the seat is reserved, among this 85% of seat reservation is given to the students belonging to the st, sc,obc category.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because I want to be a good surgeon. My class has about 156 students and around 30 faculty in each department. All the faculty are well trained and experienced. They take both theory and clinical classes. Exams are conducted by the college every month and at the end of the year University conduct professional exams. It's difficult to pass exams. We really work hard to pass exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Admission fees are around 30k per year and mess dues are 3000 per month. Books and uniforms cost around 20k. As a whole total fee is feasible. Even the poor students can afford an education in this college. We do get scholarships worth 30k per year from government and non-government organisations. Also, every student gets paid during the internship.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is symphysis. It is conducted during the month of November. During college week students unions conduct various competitions like songs, posters, arts etc. In the library almost all medical books are available. The library is situated in a silent place. Students also go to the library for self-study.
Hostel Facilities
I got hostel number 2 . My hostel is very clean. I got double bed room . Water and electricity is available 24 hour. In the mess all the foods are of average quality. They provide meals 3 times a day. Hostel are alloted from the administrative block during admission time. Nearby PG or rented rooms are available but they are costly.
