Admission into this college is based on the NEET-UG marks. One must score above cutoff to get admission. After NEET UG results , state government prepares a merit list. Then they conduct counselling at state level and national level. Application form is available on official website of director of medical education.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because I want to be a doctor. My class has around 150 students. Faculty student ratio is about 1:20. They teaches us on power point projector. All faculty are well experienced and trained. Exams are conducted every month to assess us and final exam is conducted during the month of March by University.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a government medical College so fees are affordable for the students. Admission fees is 27k, mess dues is around 3k per month. We also have to buy costly medical books . Uniform cost around 10k. We also get scholarship from national scholarship portal worth 40k per year. Students also get salary of 30k per month during internship.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted during the month of November every year. Also students union conduct various competitions like song, dance, arts etc during college week. Some students are involved in the organisation like NMO, FFE , AIDS CONTROL ORGANIZATION . In the library almost all medical books are available.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is alloted from the college administrative block. I got hostel number 2. I got double bedded rooms. Rooms are very clean and has adequate space. Water and electricity is available 24hour. In the mess they provide meals 3 times a day with evening tea and snacks. At the end of month they conduct mess ending party.
