Review of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeh Vishwavidyalaya

There is a entrance test in college before admission called (SVET) Shri Vaishnav Entrance Test . Based on this test one person get admission in the respective course. The test is consist of 100 questions and it will be of MCQ type . If your score is good in JEE mains then college will give you direct admission without this test . And the registration fee for the test is 1000 rupees.

I choose Mechanical engineering because I have interest towards this . Total strength of students of mechanical engineering department of particular year is about 60 students and faculty members are about 30. Some teachers did M.Tech and some did PHD and all are well qualified and their teaching method is also good. The term exam were every month and every semester and that exam is quite tough.

There are various companies that have a tie up with Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeh like fee tee industry , hitech industry , crystal tech services etc. And the college placement team also offers internship with other companies as well .

Students become eligible for placement at 7 semester . There are many campus drives at college like yash technology , impetus , mindruby , tatva soft , systango etc. Highest package is 9 lpa and lowest is 3 lpa. 70 percentage of students got placed in campus placements. My plan after degree to do M.tech.

The cost of study of b.tech is about 330000 and for specialization in b.tech it cost around 420000. The scholarship is provided to sc , st and OBC students and college also provide scholarship to meritorious students. And college also have a tie up with hdfc Bank for education loan at low interest.

Annual event is Spandan which occurs in December and many events happen in every week in college . There is a wide availability of books and journals in library. There is a separate sports department and there are sports tournament in every year with different colleges. Social groups in college are - prayatna , amough , riyaaz etc.
