Admission process was very smooth. We had to fill a form on the college website. The eligibility of the course was minimum 60 percent in class 12 boards and had to attempt atleast 1 Jee Mains exam. Application form can be found on Chitkara University website itself. The charge for the application form was 1100rs. I think the admission process was pretty good and it was so easy to apply for the students.

I choose the course because computer science has the most job oppurtunities in today's time. The faculty here are well qualified and have good teaching experience. Some of the professor are new but the teaching method is decent. The term exams are held at regular intervals in between our semester. The difficulty of the exam obviously depends on the preparations of the students.

Internship oppurtunities are abundunt in our college. Students get internship from 3rd year. A lot of companies come in our college that provide a handsome stipend of upto 20000-30000rs. Most of the students get an internship. Some also opt for off campus internships. Students spend their 4th year in companies doing internships and getting real world experience.

Placements at Chitkara University are very good. It has one of the best placements in North India. Students become eligible for placements in 6th semester. A lot of companies come in the college for campus placements. Some companies are Adobe, Pepperfry, Bigbasket, Wipro, TCS and many more. Highest package was offered by Amazon of 1.16cr. Most of the students get placed on campus. We have 100% placement in our college. My plans are to join a company and continue with my job.

The fees structure is very nominal and affordable even for middle class families. Chitkara University is the most affordable college in North India with such good job oppurtunities. The semester fees of BE course is 82000rs. Sadly there aren't any scholarship available for the students. There is a small fee hike every year in hostel fees. You can get on campus internships from 3rd year.

The campus life is pretty good here in Chitkara University. We have a 50 acre campus full of greenery and wonderful infrastructure. There are a lot of clubs in our university like GDSC, IEEE and many others that hold a lot of fests and events. Library is well equipped with books and journals of every field of study. There are a lot of fiction and autobiographies books available for reading. Classrooms are good with all the facilities like AC and Projectors. There are a lot of sports in our college including basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, etc.

Hostels are very well maintained and beautiful. We have a lot of options from 4 bedroom common bathroom to 1 bedroom personal bathroom. Rooms are equipped with lights, fans, almirahs, study table, mirror and cooler/AC. Meal in the mess is eatable and good as compared to different colleges. Menu keeps changing on regular intervals. Hostel charge is around 50000rs per semester. You can get your hostel alloted by coming to the college directly. The PG's are available in 3-4 km radius of the college.
