Madhusudhan Reddy's Review On SRM University Vadapalani Campus, Chennai

I secured a rank of 7200 in srmeee exam. I opted this college because it has many opurtunites to develop my self apart from srm i gave 4 other colleges. Like vit, amritha, manipal institute of technology, and bitsat. I preferred srm university over other colleges because i like srm from the very begin of the 11th nd 12 classes.

Curicullam at srm university is very flexible it has theory classes and well equid labs. The lab assistants at the university was very helpful. We have electives from 3rd sem.in 3 4 semesters we had an foreign language elective.students got to choose 1 subject from the 5 languages.( french, japneese, german, koran, mandarin.)and in 5 678 semesters we have many other electives like c#, networking, data analytics, core java, etc.

There are many companies like wipro, infosys, amazon, honeywell, they offer internship in our college. they offered various amount as stipend.but on an avg there are like 20000 per month for intern students.some companies even offered many perks for the students like weekend outings, parties, pickup nd drop with cab at our convent time. etc

Being an computer science student there are many job opurtunites in the campus in the year i attended to placements there are like 6500 job placements.

There are 2 major fests in the college. 1 tech fest other cultural fest.tech fest is organised in the month of september. there are lots of events in the tech fest.

The fee structure was quiet expensive. 1,80,000 as tuition fee each year nd an additional book fee and carer development fee of 30000 each year. Hostel fee varies from a range of 100000 to 2.5 lak.! 80000 *4 = 7, 20, 000, 30000*4 = 1,20,000 total 8, 40,000 for academics and additional 4 lak for hostel.

I would rate 4 on 5 for hostel facilities they are good nd provide good facilities they provide free wifi and nice nd hygienice wash rooms. The sweepers sweep the floor daily hostels are maintained good.

The exam structure was quite chilled out there are 2 cycle tests nd a model exam and finally the sem ends with a final semester exam. The lab exams weren't that frequent that cause hectic for the students they are flexible.

The faculty in the college was very help full the helped me in all the aspects of the achmedics nd non achmedics. There are excellent lab facilities in the university we can use the labs even after the college hrs.
