Sastra-The merit based college

In order to get the seat in sastra, we have to get more than 982 in state board or more than 85 per in jee mains, then only we can get our desired branch. In the sastra portal, we can get the admission application form. admissions may be opened from July or August month for the 2023 batch. There is no caste-based system here. only the merit students get the seat here.

Faculty members are very close. They teach us perfectly. I choose cse not because they provide the best infrastructure from all over the world. we have to ASK block for any researches purpose, there we can go implement our ideas. we have 3d printing, virtual reality etc. we have one mentor for every 10 students. They will check our progress day by day and instruct us if we have any doubts. Here exams papers are somewhat tough, it's hard to get marks. logical thinking is very important to sustain in sastra.

For 7 or 8th sem. Amazon, Flipkart, TCS. The highest package is 300000 around and the average is 700000 per year. about 90 students get placed in their branches. about2000 students get placed every year. this is somewhat huge and sastra is best compared to other nits colleges.

Fees are very less compared to other colleges only 75k per sem and hostel fees are only 45k per year. I have no idea about scholarships. The job we get here is based on the core subject we have chosen .cse students get placed fastly. From a new survey, sastra got 3.36/4.0 in the NIRF rankings

I am a first-year student, still, they did not conduct fests. They are going to keep it in one more month like Daksha,kurkusastra etc.so.many books are available in the library. It is a very good place to read. calm atmosphere. Sports activities are less in sastra according to me. They are so many clubs like ncc,nss, student exonora etc.

Hostel rent is for 3 members staying 6000 and mess fees is 4300 and for the single room, it is 12000. Registration is simple. They will instruct about the details of the registration process through Gmail. Near our hostel only they are rooms available and some students are staying there.
