Course Curriculum Overview
The core subject of statistics in bachelor of Science course offered in very few colleges in india and one of best is presidency. The course structure is amazing, it would starts with minimal basics along with computer languages like Pascal, fortran, etc.. These comp languages are useful in statistical findings
Placement Experience
At that time 2013 - 2016, there are no placement and job opportunities to us.. only few domestic Bpo came at that time and the campus interview wasn't happened for their courses.
College Events
We used to celebrate three things 1. Once the college starts there ll be a election for president, V president, Secretary, after the election there would be inaugural function for that. Normally winning party came with band and drums music with their supporters in mass crowd seems like political election then songs and dance, fun etc. 2 cultural days Cultural day would celebrate in the middle of December after the semester leave it's like a re union our team again with loads of fun. It's celebrate on the month of February.. We do have many teams as route mates who are used to come by bus in the same route. They Form one team and celebrate the bus day with drums and dance in the road.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very low fees as per govt fees structure, any one can afford the fees also they ll give scholarship for all caste students.
Campus Life
Ratio is 80 males n 20 females.. But the guys are protective, there is no ragging and eve teasing. Good in sports to, Well established labs and equipment. Anyone want to be a politician, he can choose political science here.
Hostel Facilities
It's a govt college, so there is no fees for hostel students but there is minimal occupancy only. Food also free for them.
Admission
After 12th results, college would open for admission process. There would be a very big que, Mostly girls don't prefer this college because boys total strength is 85%. Its near to my home like I was residing at thousand lights so I went early n got the Forms and I have applied maths n stats and finally I got admission letter for statistics course through postal. most of my friends were got admission in presidency college but some other department on my first day of college, I felt like a complete man and I appraised my self that came to a right place to make my career upwards.
Faculty
Faculties are well knowledge and experienced professionals. Most of the professors are doctorates, they can easily define the statistical method and they taught us in the understandable path.
