Remarks
In Our college, admission is taken based on ACPC Rank of 12th result and gujcet result. We can find all of the details on the ACPC website like the application form, application dates, application fees etc. The admission process is a very effective and technically good one. I like that process. I think it is the best way of the admission process. There are 4 rounds for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have very much interested in computers and software, that's why I choose computer engineering at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College. There are many faculties in our department and those are very powerful in their field. When we have doubts then they are very much helpful. So many faculties had done their PhD and many do preparing for a PhD. Basically, the term exam was easy for those students who have given proper attention to their studies.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies which give internships for 3 months or 6 months. Tatva soft gives us the internship by teaching new skills for free of cost. I have done an internship at TST(the start today) company as an android app developer. And I have done 2 projects in that.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited our college for giving placements like TCS, L&T, Tatva Soft, Hitachi, Maruti techno labs, bacancy, just pay and many more. The highest package is around 10 lakh/year and an average of 3 lakh/year. After getting a degree I have to do a job for a few years and after that, I will open my own company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basically, our college course fee is something around 3500/year and PG fee around 35000/year. I took a scholarship like MYSY which is given by the Gujarat government for those students who got good marks in 12th and also in the current course. It is for scholars students. Definitely, this scholarship helps me a lot in the economical conditions of the mine.
Campus Life
There are many festivals celebrated in our college. First is the sports week. In one week we have played lots of games and tournaments which makes our minds free and stressless. Another festival like gtu techfest which makes us skilful. Library is one of the favourite place for me. I like reading the books and in our library, there are lots of interesting books. In gtu there are 100 points activity which we have done in four years of Engineering. There are many social groups like NCC, NSS, Bachpan and many more.
Hostel Facilities
Many facilities are provided by the government hostel of our college. In one room there are 3 beds, 3 lockers, WiFi, electricity, bathroom, playground and many more. The meal quality is not good. I literally don't like it. It needs to be changed. For registration in the hostel, we need to. Fill out the form and submit the details of eligibility proof. I am living in the PG. But it did not have good facilities as compared to government hostels.
