I got admission to this college through eamcet entrance exam with a rank of 34493. After that, I have gone through the web options for engineering colleges in which I selected all the government colleges including our college. Finally, I got a message stating that I got a seat at JNTUH University College of Engineering Manthani. As I am from ST background I got a seat in this college though I got above 30K rank in eamcet. As per the instructions of our college admission staff I have submitted all my original certificates and reserved my seat in this college.

From the beginning, I was very much interested in mechanical engineering. I have researched about this college earlier and found that this college is very good in faculty and has better resources for the labs. It was definitely true. Our faculty is excellent and they have done Masters in different specializations. The way of teaching is good and practical. There will be two semesters per year with 6 months for each semester. For every subject, there will be 5 chapters for sure. The faculty will complete the syllabus on time so it will be easier for us to pass the semester exams.

Coming to placements, there are some companies that come to our college placements including TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mind tree, Stellantis, Unacademi, etc and offered about 200 students. Placements are mainly for CSE students because the visited companies are only IT-based. Other branch students can also participate in this if they are interested to work in IT sector. The highest package is 7LPA and the average package is 4LPA. The profiles include system engineer, software engineer, systems analyst, cloud engineer, etc. I am from the mechanical engineering branch and I wanted to join the IT sector. I got placed in Infosys company with a package of 3.6LPA.

As it was a government college, there will be no fee particularly paid by the students except for those whose parents are government employees. The tuition fee will be 10000 per year. Every student will get a scholarship of around 14000 per year which will be sufficient for mess fees and hostel maintenance. The scholarship is provided by our state government named "ts E-pass". Placement opportunity is also present in this college because which I got placed in Infosys company when I was in my final year of engineering with a package of 3.6 LPA.

For every year there will be 3 program conducted which includes "freshers day", "college fest" and "farewell party".There was a big library with a lot of books including nowels, storybooks, biographies and daily newspapers along with the subject books where we can study in a peaceful environment without any disturbance. We have a big playground which is the largest ground among all affiliated colleges of JNTUH. There will be games conducted among the students every year and prizes will be distributed on the 26th of January.

Our college attached hostel is maintained very neat and clean. One room should be shared by 3 members. There will be 3 beds, 3 tube lights, one study chair with a table, and two racks to place our things such as bags, shoes, and books. There will be a net for the window to protect us from the mosquitoes and three hangers. Sweepers will clean our rooms once in two days and bathrooms will also be cleaned once in 2 days. Food quality will be medium but it will be okay and not so bad. It includes tiffin in the morning, lunch, and dinner along with tea and milk in the evening. At the beginning of our joining they will provide us with a small book regarding the rules and regulations of the hostel.
