Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because I want to be a good doctor. My class has around 150 students. Each department has approximately 20 faculty. All faculty are doctors and they teach us on the projector. They teach clinical knowledge in the clinics and they also take theory classes in the lecture hall complex. They conduct annual exams during the month of March which is very difficult to pass. One needs to work very hard for the same.
Fees and Financial Aid
The administrative fee is around 31k. Total mess dues per month are around 2k. Also, the cost of books and dresses combine around 20k. Also, we have to pay fees for certain functions organized on the campus. We do get scholarships from both government and non-government organizations. I do get a scholarship worth 50k per year. Also, we do get a stipend of Rs 30k per month during the internship.
Campus Life
The College week is Conducted named SYMPHYSIS. Also, different game tournaments are conducted like TPL for Cricket, Football, badminton, and TT. The library of the College is too good having almost all of the Medical books and also some extra books magazine journals etc. Almost all medical books are available in the library.
Hostel Facilities
I stay in hostel. The hostels are neat and clean with attached bathrooms and are really quite spacious. We stay 3 in a room. 24 hour electricity and water is provided. The mess food is also above average. They provide both non vegetarian and vegetarians food. Nearby pg and rented rooms available but they are very costly.
