Remarks
Admission will be merit-based, depending upon the marks you have scored in your 12th board exams and you can easily clear the cut-off if you score above 65%. Eligibility of the course is 12th pass out. You can find the application form by visiting the campus but due to covid it is available online also the fee can be paid online and offline and a fee for this course is easily payable by any student. The application form will be out after the declaration of the 12th result and you can contact the main office in the college for updates. Reserve categories can easily get admission in low percentage also so obviously they get benefits. The admission process is flexible and I don't want any change in it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because it helps me regarding my future and it is different from other courses and gives specific knowledge about a very underrated subject. The faculty of this is average, around 4-5 teachers of statistics are there so the ratio of teachers to students is 1:6. Faculty is very skilled and highly qualified and their teaching method is average, you can understand the subjects by attending the classes regularly and Teachers are helpful and supportive, they guide us regularly so that we may not mislead from our path. Term exams were once a year but now due to the new education policy it is held semester-wise and surprise test the unit test was taken by the faculty members and you can easily pass them by studying for 2-3 hours daily.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is too less in this college so anyone can easily afford it and a scholarship is also provided to the students of low financial status. The name of the scholarship is UP scholarship and it is provided to students having an annual income of less than 2.5 lakhs. I don't think that campus will provide job opportunities because jobs in this field can be only found in metropolitan cities and multinational companies do not visit the campus so there are no job opportunities on campus. I think they should include campus jobs and internship programs so that students can learn and earn also and helps them to explore the corporate world. And sometimes the scholarship is not given to every student so this should be improved.
Campus Life
No annual fest and tech fest have been conducted by this college. Facilities in the library are better than any other things, books and journals are available and you can issue them whenever you want and you can return them after a particular period and can get knowledge from them. For library facilities you have to make a library card then only you will be able to enjoy the facilities. Classroom facilities are average and fans work properly in summers and teachers take the classes regularly. Sport event is conducted once a year and some extracurricular activities are also been conducted in a month so that students can show their talent. Only a political group run by students is named ABVP i.e. Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad. They help the freshers in exploring the campus and introduce them to teachers.
