IIT Dharwad Experience

IIT Dharwad has increased in popularity for its academic performance and faculty standards under the tutelage of IIT Bombay. The college is not overcrowded and has a large number of faculty members. My attention was drawn to the academic staff of availability during JOSAA counselling. The faculty present were highly skilled and experienced, which piqued my interest. I was a member of IIT Dharwad by freezing my seat until the end of my counselling. The college's admissions process was straightforward and painless.

The course has been extremely diverse, requiring a considerable amount of time to close the gap and speed with it. It also broadens one's set of skills and prepares one for a career in business. The faculty have earned their PhDs from India's top universities and have extensive research work experience, which they use to guide and assist us in understanding each concept in depth.

The college internship programme is extremely well-designed. The recruitment community was recently formed, and they were able to invite some very good companies to participate in the college internship programme. The intern stipends range from 25,000 to 1 lakh per year. To be eligible for an internship, we must complete the 80% class attendance bar.

During my graduation year, IIT Dharwad had a staggering placement rate of 95%. Microsoft, Nasdaq, Air Asia, TCS, Cognizant, Express Analytics, Sohum Innovations, MAQ Software's, Larson and Toubro, and others were among the major recruiters. 60% of the students were placed in information technology, with the remainder in core engineering, education, and research and development. These companies even provided summer internships to us in the final semester. The highest package available was 21 lakh rupees, while the average remuneration was 12 lakh rupees.

Our college has a very good scholarship program which helps the underprivileged person to attain a very good education scholarship is provided through schemes like Merit-cum-Means (MCM), Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC, Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for ST, National Scholarship for Higher Education for SC, National Scholarship for Higher Education for SC, Scholarship Schemes operated by State Governments/Public authorities, Scholarship/Assistance provided by Educational/Private Institutes.

PARSEC is the college's technical fest, where we get to show off our inventive skills and knowledge in front of the entire institute. In addition, the college has numerous national and international collaborations with universities, which provide us with excellent research opportunities. The university labs are modern and they also have a wide range of tools and study material, as well as other amenities. The library is home to many best-selling authors from all over the world.

The hostel is excellent. The hostel's amenities are first-rate, including 24-hour power and water supply. The hostel university also has a WiFi connection for internet access. There is also an indoor games room. The food quality at Mess is excellent, and appropriate hygiene is maintained. The wardens are extremely professional, and the dormitory staff is extremely well-trained. The rooms are completely furnished and well-ventilated.
