Remarks
There are two ways to admissions to UT college. One is merit-based and the other is on the PU CET exam. In a first way I.e. merit-based, we have to score a high percentage in the 12th class, Jn the second way we have to score high marks in the PU CET exam which is based on the 12th level. Apart from this admissions of students depend on UT and outside UT category. Outside UT students there are 15 per cent of seats are reserved and inside UT students have 85 per cent of seats reserved
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BSc non-medical because dav is one of the best clg in Chandigarh. Here faculty members are very supportive in nature. They help students in each and every aspect. They clear all your doubts at any time anywhere in clg. They also guided students on what to do and what not to do. In BSc, the non-medical boys ratio is more as compared to the girl ratio. The ratio is in form of 7:1. The teaching method of teachers is awesome. If you clear all your doubts with your teachers it is not difficult to score good marks in exams. Odd semester exam duration is shorter than even the semester exam, they are of 2to 3 months and 4 to 5 months respectively.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for our course take collectively at once at the start of the semester. Fees for BSc non-medical courses decrease as we go from first to final year. First-year is 25,000,2nd year 22,350 and final year fees is 21,275. The scholarship also provides to students in different aspects, one on the basis of caste and second on the basics of your semester exams. If your score is greater than 95 % then your fees are reduced to 75 %. If you score more than 90% then your fees are reduced to 50 %.
Campus Life
The annual fest in dav is celebrated not less than a festival. It is celebrated in the month of February. Different types of cultural activities are performed in the stages like Himachali Natti, Haryanvi dance, Punjabi bhangra etc. IN CLG fest we come to know the diversity in the unit. In dav clg library are also present for that student who wants to do study for their competition as well as semester exam. There were 5000 journal presents, 2000 magazines present and another competitive exam.
