I joined the college through the counselling conducted by the Anna university in Tamilnadu. The eligibility is to have a percentage of 60 in the PCM subjects i.e physics chemistry and Maths. All the details were provided by the university during the time of counselling by various sources like newspaper, t.v channels and so on. There is also management admissions available in all the engineering colleges as all know.

I had chosen this course because I am more interested towards the circuits and electronics. I too have a keen interest on vlsi, pcb design and so on. There are two class advisors available for each class. So the ratio would be 32:1. Most the faculties available are having their phd. Others are pursing their PhD now. There will a daily hourly test on morning and usually assessments are conducted for every 2 weeks.

Many companies like accenture, tessolve, pega, hcl, zoho,...have tied up MOU'S with our college. They will be selecting the students and offering them internships.Mostly our college encourages students to do atleast one internship.

Mostly all the students are placed expect of the student s with backlags and those who opt for higher education. The average salary package is 4.6L. The lowest package is 3.2L. The highest salary is 22L offered to 4 students by Human resosica.I am preparing myself to be a vlsi tester.

I don't see any hike in fees structure because I am first year I don't know about this yet. But i don't heard of such things. Yeah there is a scholarship provided by the foundation run by our college. They will be providing fees waiver depending on the cutoffs we get. Mostly cut off above 190 gets full waiver and between 185-190 gets half waiver.

Our college is known for the events in and around the campus. There will be an annual event in the even semesters know as takshila which will be conducted non stoply for 2 days(tech&non-tech). Then there will be symposiums for each of the departments. We do have a full cricket ground and other sports facilities including gym. Many technical and non-technical groups are organised and run the seniors.

The newly built hostel is a villa type it has a hall, attached restrooms, wifi router for each room.The old is somewhat ok to stay. The quality of food provided is good but it will not be ok all the times.There is no special registration for th hostel it will be included in the admission process itself.
