GEU was a dream

BBA course at GEU didn't demand any entrance for admissions. The cut-off was 50% but those who had over 80% in 12th were given scholarships. The ones with 90% were given extra rebate so for those who have achieved better numbers get better rewards here. The admission process was simple as in a single day, one get admission letter. The form has to be filled by the students and submit it along with the fees and you are done with your admissions.

A total number of 20 faculties for BBA course were assigned. Our department had two HOD as there were 6 sections of BBA students with 80 students in each section. All the faculties are well educated as all of them were PG and PhD holders and were masters of the subjects they taught us.

The fees was reasonable as I compared it with many private colleges and GEU in that regard is quite reasonable. Scholarships are awarded to the ones with better numbers in HSC and those who were physically challenged or financially unstable.

Annual event is GRAFEST and that was not all. The events start with a fresher program in which seniors welcomed all the juniors in Freshers Party. We too had to return the favor during Farwell which is one of the grandest events of the university. Sports event is held annually and a team from all departments of the university participates. The winning team gets a trophy and some cash rewards too.

Inside the university there is one boys and one girls hostel. All the first year students have to live compulsorily at the Sai Hostel which is off-campus but in the vicinity of the university. Along with admissions in the university, we can apply for hostels and get admissions as there are nearly 6 boys hostels of the university including on-campus and off-campus hostels. The food is top quality as i have tried almost all the cafe's close to the campus and none are close to the kind of quality that hostel food has.
