Remarks

Firstly you have to register on the admission portal of the University of Delhi. Then after some time your admit card is released by NTA which conducts the DU LLB entrance exam for admission to college. This exam consists of 100 questions 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 negative for each incorrect one. Then after a period of time, your score is displayed by NTA and after that merit lists came out. Shortlisted students then can take admission.

I choose this course because I'm really excited to know about our legal system. Also in this world, we are supposed to know our law. The faculty-student ratio is quite good around 1 Professor on 20 students. Our college is very effective in teaching law. Infect university is the first university that adopts the case method to teach law. Its very effective on students. Exams are conducted every 6 months as a semester system. And one should really have to study to pass an examination.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 4278 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are really very nominal in our college. Also, those students who already registered with University before having some benefit in fees. Various scholarships are provided by Faculty and by others to students of the college. Delhi University & all India Post-Graduate Scholarship. His Holiness the Pope Scholarship. Shari Raghubeer S. Scholarship Justice Sunanda Bhandari Scholarship. L.R. Bhansali cash award Scholarship. Dr Ram Kishor memorial Scholarship and many more. These scholarships are given to poor students also on merit basis of DULLB score.

Campus Life

As you University of Delhi North Campus is located in Delhi. So we have a very good campus life also the crowd is very good. You can easily see students from the south, north, northeast and even from other countries. So you can imagine the diversity in life. We all are united by University and also we learn from each other's traditions and culture and respect that. And everybody is known for the fest life or fest season of the University of Delhi they are just amazing. Also, we have a very well equipped spots complex at our university. All students of University easily access these facilities and yes our university gives many sports stars. Also, we have a great Library in our college full of thousands of books. Every time when you ask the Librarian for a book she has one for you with this we also have a Central Library and an e-library of the University of Delhi on our mobile phones.

Delhi University bringing a diverse opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being very passionate about law it brought me closer towards the subjects i thought I'd never like. It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Curriculum in law faculty is based on bare acts and case material provided by faculty itself. Study is totally case based and very comprehensive. I choose law after graduation because I find law very interesting subject and it is very interesting.

There are not as such campus placements but the students secure ppos from the law firms. Majority of the students do not go for corporates as the field diversified in judiciary, litigation etc. The placement cell is working hard to bring in companies for hiring.

Decent college for five year law

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good for the real world applications as the course teaches us about the practical work. They can improve their course by adding more moot court practices during the semester and by giving the students the opportunity to practically utilise the bookish knowledge they are gaining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Placement Experience:

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.

The Best Law College in India

One thing that is common to almost all the public educational institutions is that they have good faculty members and bad administration. It is somewhat similar for the faculty of law. The teachers are more than great but when it comes to the administration it may be a little troublesome. Generally the problem arises in the delay in getting ID cards, case materials, library cards, examination forms, admit cards and so on. But this isn't much of a trouble since there are helpful seniors who are always there to help you. Also, the people in administration are also not so rude and are pretty student friendly. My overall impression of this college being myself a first year student is much more better than I expected it to be. The faculty has great facilities especially in the new building called the Umang Bhawan (for Law Center 1 and 2). It has elevators, spacious classrooms, a seperate moot court hall, parking facility, canteen, and a huge open space in the backside....Read More
