Remarks
The admission is based on the marks obtained in NEET UG. The state government releases state merit list and counselling is conducted by the director of medical education based on the merit list. The application form is available online and offline in the college. The reservation is given to the students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS Category.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because I want to be good doctor. My class has around 30 faculty in each department and around 200 students. All the faculty are well experienced and talented. They take theory class in the lecture hall and clinical classess on the hospital. The exams are conducted every 3 month by college and is very difficult to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fees is around 31k and the cost of uniform, books, notebooks is around 30k. Also we have to pay 3k per month for foods. The overall fees is feasible and less than private medical colleges. The students also get scholarship worth 60k from UGC India. Also we get stipend of 31k per month during internship.
Campus Life
The annual fest is SYNCHYSIS and is conducted during the month of November. The students union conduct various competitions like song, dance, arts etc. The library is situated in the auditorium complex and has almost all medical books. Many students are involved social clubs like sports club, hiv club.
Hostel Facilities
I got hostel number 2. The hostel is allotted from the college administration. The rooms are very clean . All the floor has attached bathroom. The meal quality is average. They provide meals 3 times a day along with the evening snacks and tea. The nearby PG and rented rooms are available but have to pay extra security deposit.
