Admission was done based on NEET score or rank.NEET is a common entrance exam for admission in Medical Colleges in India.I have scored 600 marks in NEET 2020.I have got admission in P.D.U. Medical College, Rajkot for the MBBS Course
Course Curriculum Overview
Term exams are taken on time.Following exams are taken in each proffesional year that consists of 2 Internal Exams, 1 Preliminary Exams and Finally University Exams are must to pass to enter the next proffesional year.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is compulsory according to NMC Guidelines. Government college provide stipend to the intern students.There is a compulsory rotating internship in all the clinical departments for atleast 12 months and you have to complete your internship within 2 years of completion of your final year university exams. You get a lot of clinical experience in this phase, both outpatient and in the wards. You also have to balance your PG extrance exam preparation during this period, so you have to balance both theory preparation and for application of your knowledge in actual clinical practice. You get a lots of workload, but that sets you up with on hand experience as opposed to just observerships in some private colleges, and you also are endowed some small responsibils. Overall, the rotating internship provides you a platform to hone your clinical skills which are very useful for your 1st year of residency.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total ? 25,000/- is the course fees for each Proffesional Year and ?1200/- for Hostel every year.I have not applied for any scholarship.But students can apply for MYSY, Digital Gujarat Scholarship,etc.
Campus Life
The college campus is mediocre .It consists of canteen, cafeteria and also there is small garden which consists of lotuses in ponds. Sanitation is maintained in the college regularly. There is a badminton Court on ground floor of college.
