Umes Chandra is an undergraduate college in Kolkata best college for commerce students. people above 80% are eligible for the course. the application form is easily available on the college website fees are very low compared to other colleges. students can apply after the result of class 12th. only limited seats are the for reservation. no such improvement we want from this college
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because there is about 100 % opportunity after you get passed out. The faculty is very polite and helpful about 5 faculty for 100 students. All the faculty are M.Com B.ED and masters of commerce. If you are good and sincere students then you easily get passed just focus on preparation and study
Placement Experience
TCS WIPRO INFOSYS are a major company who visited Umesh Chandra campus and provides many offers to students. the highest package is 3500000 and the average package is 450000. about 75% of students get placed. My plan after my degree is to start up my own company
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a government based college so fees are quite low only 5000 per half-yearly. fee hike policy is not that much only a nominal amt of fees get increased. student scholarships are good and for jobs, campus selection is easy and students who have good skills is got placed with hansom amt
Campus Life
The campus is well Equipped and has a good facility of convenience. students have a canteen and game centre for free time to spend and enjoy college life. about 1000 books are available in the students' library. classroom having fan and smart class.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for 4 seater room and their cost is 40000 per year. Facilities provided in Hostels are free wifi, AC, Gym facilities and the quality of food is extraordinary. They were given 3 days of non-veg in a week. The registration process is fine.
Interview Experience
The admission process is very simple for students above 85% who are directly get admitted no need for group discussion and tests for admission. Students only has proper documents and original mark sheet. i did not prepare for group discussion because of a direct entry.
