Remarks
60% is enough to secure a berth here as students can come and register here directly. I did it all through their website as visiting a college in 2020 was not possible. It was so easy peasy as the chatbot provided all the information and after knowing my 12th mark, the university offered me a 15% concession in my fees. The admission process was a walk in the park and I find it an absolute peach.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are the perfect match-up here as the bond between students and the faulty is an affair that will not be seen elsewhere. We could rub shoulders with them over a cup of coffee and they make classes interesting by giving some life lesson teachings too. I share a great bond with them as nearly 20-25 faculties have taught us thus far and no one has ever baffled me with their teaching pursuits.
Placement Experience
We become eligible from the 5th semester as the final semester is about training. The placement and training cell of the university has all our information which they pass on to the industries coming for placements. For our department, IT companies like IBM, Infosys, and TCS are the main recruiters. Student placements at GEU go hand in hand as the university has never disappointed students on that front.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is slightly higher but Graphic Era is a niche name and therefore fees for me were correct. Scholarships to all students who have scored above 80% get concession in fees. Apart from that too the university runs a lot of scholarship programs like the sports quota, girls quota and army quota.
Campus Life
Among sporting facilities, there's a basketball court, a badminton court, and a volleyball court. The library of our department is a little bit small but the central library makes ammedns for it as it is the grandest of libraries that I have ever seen. Festivities are a huge part of the Graphic Era campus as all departments have their own fests and the combined fest of all departments is called GRAFEST.
