College to study and experience great ambience and atmosphere.

Admission process in NSRIT was a bit tough process for me as i have to move about 40 to 43 Kilometers 3 times for my admission to be done in this college in mechanical engineering branch. It consists of submitting the 10th marklist and necessary other original certificates like caste, Aadhar Xerox , Income certificate , Inter Transfer Certificate etc., There was a room where the application process was done and also the fee payment of 1st year. I availed the benefit of reservation under BC-D category in which i have got 35000 fee concession as i reside in ANDHRA PRADESH. Si used to pay 26000 per year after the financial benefit concession.

The students were about 60 to 70 in number for each and every class in NSRIT. And there will be one faculty per subject in the class who will take care of the syllabus completion and internal exams and its marks. The faculty in NSRIT is not that Qualified as there are very less number of Ph.D. graduated faculty in my college , so there was a knowledge restriction in each and every faculty except 1 or 2 faculty members. The teaching method of the experienced faculty members was very innovative but the teaching of the new faculty members was of not much good and not too bad. It was average on a scale from Low to High. There were Mid exams which were conducted by the college , including the MCQ online exam for 20 Marks for each and every subject. Along with the external exams.

For internship opportunities, students on their own has to go in search of opportunities as an intern in different companies, but only 1 internship opportunity was provided by the college which was in Dockyard -A Shipping Company, which was a paid internship without any stipend. There were faculty members under whom the students will get the project and has to discuss with him/her so that we can do the project and expect the desired output. After the project there is a viva and report submission process. This is purely based on performance in viva and how the person is handling the project during that time.

In my final year of Btech i got placed in Kia motors in anantapuram as a quality engineer with a package of 2.5 LPA. I was eligible to this as soon as i had completed my 3rd year of Btech and hence attended the exam followed by Interview. There were not much campus visits , so many of the students left unplaced even though having good knowledge in the subject. Exactly 27 Offers were made to mechanical branch students out of 240 members which is very less. Infact so many out of 27 students who got placed are in software companies like , Infosys, tcs, Mphasis . Merely 10 percentage of students got placed during the campus hiring in final year of Btech. As i am already got placed , i want to work as a quality engineer in after i got the degree.

There is kind of scholarship given or offered to me in my college , but only thing i got the benifit under my BC-D category. Till my final year there was no fee hike policy. And the fee that i had paid is reasonable for thier teaching method. I have got placed in Kia Motors in the month of August 2021 with a CTC of 2.5 LPA which is best for a mechanical engineer. In my opinion there has to be some financial assistance given to the students so that we can afford the fee in case of No fee reimbursement by the government. Also campus hiring must be increased as the years pass, since so man of the students paid the fee only for campus hiring.

It is a huge college with a great ambience and enjoyable vicinity. Every year there is a FEST and annual day celebrations, also along with these engineers day , teachers day etc., are the other events will be conducted. In the month of January and April fest and annual day celebrations are conducted respectively by the students. There are a good numbers of books available in my college library but the number of books to be taken is restricted as only 2 books has to be taken on one's own library card. For project work in the final year we can refer the previous Reports published by our seniors and also referring the journals. Each class room is well equipped and maintained neat and clean daily. Sports are conducted on the occasion of fest and other events. There were no Social group or clubs in our college run by the students which is the saddest part.
