I think that the admission process was up to mark but can be improved by adding the admission procedure details on the website as during my time the website got crashed and I had to visit the college to get details about the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of my interest in it and at the same time lots of scope in it. The faculty in our college are nice and very polite and help us in improving our studies. The faculty to students ratio is around 1:40. Many of our faculty our Mtech Graduate and some are IIT Roorkee Graduate Also. The teaching methods are up to the mark. One has to give an exam at regular intervals of one month and it's not that difficult to pass and It can vary with according to the subject also.
Internships Opportunities
The students will be able to avail themselves of the internship from the second year and will be able to apply for internships in companies like IBM, TCS etc and our CRC department will help us to get the internship. One can also do courses in Data science, machine learning etc as our college has a tie-up with IIT Guwahati.
Placement Experience
I think from 6-to 7 semesters students are capable of college placements. Some companies like HCL, Cognizant, TCS, IBM etc have visited our college and recruited many students also. 20 lakhs was the highest package the previous year and the average package was around 5-6 lakhs. Around 80% of students got placements and the others applied for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees in our college are not that high and a middle-class person can easily afford them. Some scholarships are there for poor or financially disabled students and can easily be avail. The CRC department in our college gives us the opportunity to get the job.
Campus Life
We have many societies and the popular one is the Yatrikoom and fest are conducted at a regular interval of 2-3 months. The college issues our courses book and we don't need to buy a new one. Our school organizes an inter-college sports fest once a year. Classrooms are equipped with AC and have the facility of a water cooler also.
