Remarks
Bit sindri earlier take admission through a separate exam conducted by jececeb .but now it takes admission through counselling based on jee main rank .students of 12 th passed with science and attain good marks in jee main is eligible for taking admission in bit sindri. After josaa counselling a state level counselling held by jececeb is conducted which release application form, application fees is around 500, application dates are around September to December. There is reservation for caste .
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in doing btech specially by mechanical branch. Faculty::student ratio is 1:80 . The Faculty members including all the professors all are well educated ,experienced, knowledgeable and very talented and helpful teachers. Term exam are timely conducted and not more difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies under internshala platform like TCS, etc give internship with stipend and sometimes without stipend. Roles are mostly easy and more learning . Many projects are given by Making group of students pursuing internship.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester pre placement offer comes and after 6th semesters placement starts. This year 2021 -22 total 54 companies come and give 697 placement out of around 750 students. Companies like vedanta ,adani enterprise, Amazon, Aditya Birla group ,TCS, Larsen and turbo, Google ,Samsung etc come .Amazon gives highest package of 44 lacks . And average salary of placement is around 7 lacks,above 90 % placement this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
In terms of the fees I can say it is one of the best and cheapest engineering colleges with approx 17500 rupees per year. There are lot of scholarships including eklayan scholarship of jharkhand government , many scholarships by the alumni etc. Study loans camps of many banks are organized. Job like Internship with stipend is also there.
Campus Life
Many annual fest like green marathon etc tech fest like smart city challenges are organized in different Month. Library facilities are very good in all terms like book availability. Classroom are well equipped. A lot of sports and extra curricular activities are organized by different clubs. Eco club ,prayas India a ngo ,etc many clubs are there.
Hostel Facilities
One bed , one study table , a chair, fan ,tubelight ,bathroom ,washroom almost all facilities are given. Meal quality and mess menu is fantastic which include 1 day fish ,3 day chicken ,1 day egg. Only deposit hostel fees to hostel superintendent and give some basic documents and hostel will be allotted but like mess menu mess fees is also high ie 3900 per month.
