Admission to SNU is a quick and easy process. All you have to do is fill out an application form online or offline. The admission department will take it from there and provide you with all the information, solve your queries and guide you through the entire process. To be eligible for this course, you have to pass the class 12 examination from the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Also, the students need to secure at least 55% of their marks. After taking admission, we need to attend regular classes at the University.

Biotechnology is a fast-emerging industry with a lot of career opportunities. And since I always had a knack for Biology, I decided to pursue this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10 All the faculty members are very experienced in their field and have excellent teaching skills. They help us through our lessons, practicals, and assignments. Regular exams are held to test our learning power and aren't too difficult if we attend our classes. We are also given different projects to work on and gain hands-on experience to develop our research skills.

As a part of our course curriculum, we are offered various internship opportunities and research projects that prepare us for future jobs. The University also arranges different seminars, workshops, and training programs to ensure that we gain complete experience in working in the field of Biotechnology. The internships also offer us a good stipend while enhancing our skills to a great extent.

We are offered placement opportunities from our final year. Before that, we take part in various internships and research projects too. Several reputed companies have tie-ups with our University and they are the ones who provide us with jobs and internship opportunities. More than 200 companies visit and above 95% of students get placed with salaries over 8LPA. I plan to sit for campus placements and earn a good job at a reputed company.

According to me, SNU has an affordable fee structure. The payment is to be paid in installments per semester. We are also offered scholarships and student credit card facilities. Plus, the facilities that the University provides make it seem all the more worthy. We also have internships and placement opportunities with a good stipend that can also provide a huge relief on the fees.

Our campus life provides us a great opportunity for sports, entertainment, and various extra-curricular activities. We celebrate different events like Holi, Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, and the birth anniversaries of famous personalities. We also celebrate annual fests and annual sports in which everyone can take part. Activities like music, dance, art, photography, etc. are also encouraged at SNU's cultural club. Our classrooms have all the advanced facilities and our laboratories are well-equipped too. We also have a huge library with lots of books on different topics. We are allowed to sit and read or borrow the books too. So far, I am enjoying campus life with a beautiful and friendly atmosphere.

The hostel feels like a second home to me. The rooms are huge and comfortable. 2 persons share one room but we are provided with separate beds, cupboards, and desks. We have a huge dining room where we sit and eat together. The hostel is fitted with free wifi and all the necessary amenities. The hostels are in a safe locality; plus, security facilities are also provided. Health, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen. Medical facilities are also available here. I am quite impressed by the amicable atmosphere.
