Maharashtra CET Score: 95 percentile I had opted for this college because it was the best college in pune and had a very strong alumni base. In addition the fee structure was very reasonable as compared to other MBA Institutes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course had a mix of core management subjects, courses pertaining to one's specialization and a number of electives based on industry verticals. In addition there is an option to learn from either French, Spanish or German as the mandatory foreign language course. The electives range from Retail management, Information technology, Banking financial services and insurance and manufacturing.
Internships Opportunities
The internship offered provided a good base to understand core marketing behaviors and activities as well as sector wise knowledge. Generally no stipend is offered during internships.
Placement Experience
Placement wise 75% of the students were placed. IT and banking companies were the major recruiters. Average package was about 5.5lakh CTC.
College Events
There were several events which ranged from intra collegiate to inter college. Events included management, cultural and sports. Several events are also organized for the alumni and industry personnel.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any loan facility that the college had tied up with. Scholarships awarded were as per government standards.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni base was strong and had a diverse set of persons ranging from corporates to entrepreneurs. The college also organizes meets between present students and alumni on a frequent basis.
Exam Structure
Exams were trimester based with one internal and one external exam every trimester. Marks were also given on the basis of assignments and presentations.
