My College Days

Its the campus which is going to give you a lot of memories , good friends if you stay upto the mark and be good. Not a strict management , you can find few of them helpful for your needs.

There is no special entrance required for doing graduation in this college , qualifying Intermediate is enough . I have choosed this college for the campus placements it is providing and for its excellent infrastructure.

The course which i opted was ( Maths , Electronics and Computer Science ) and the faculty being provided for those subjects were pretty good , even though they didnt excell in the subjects they teach but they always try to give their best . One can get the best from them by keep on asking the doubts if they didnt understand anything properly.

No. As far as i know there is internship provided by Prism College. Their will be a role like co-ordinators with in the college and they will give Rs. 8000 /- as stipend.

This College is very well known for placements. Coming to On Campus Drives , There are few reputed companies like Genpact , L&T , Reddy Labs visit the campus frequently for every academic year. On other side this college is linked with few Off - Campus drives being conducted at other places also. I have got selected for Infosys with 2.4 package . Every year atleast 100 members will get placed in different coompanies.

Prism college is specially known for its extra curricular activities and the cultural festivals it conducts. During my time , there used Varnahela as a Tech fest when every student can explore their talent regarding the subjects and technology . Their used a cultural fest called Praxis. Number of colleges used to come and participate in these events. Every year there will be Freshers and Farewell party.

During my time it used to be Rs.15,000 /- per year. Based on the candidate intermediate marks first year fee will be slightly negotiable. There will be no bargain for second and third year fee. Now i think it is above Rs. 20,000 /- . A part from this there will be examination fee for the university will be there. It will be arround 2000 to 3000.

As far as i know there are no such facilities. Eligible persons who are economically poor ( anual income below Rs. 100000 /- ) can avail the scholar ship provided by government through the college.

This Cammpus provides decent environment for studies , conducts lot of cultural events , burden free education but their should be a bit improvement in the management side when recruiting new faculty. We can expect some special persons at least twice in an year who comes to the campus to motivate and cheer students.

There is no hostel facility provided for this college , not even mess and food. If any wants to avail such facilities , there are a lot of hostels surrounding the college. The price for hostel would be arroung 3000 to 5000 per month. If anyone wants to stay in PG , they should live somewhere near MVP , Seethammadhara areas.

Yeah they will be helpful ;) ifyou know them , you can borrow books from them ( Only if they dont have any Backlogs :p ) . You can career guidance from them based on their experience.

When i used to study ( during 2012-2015) For B.Sc , B.Com , BBM students there used to be three Academic years. Every year we used to have one final exams in between March and April , Labs in February month. Later after 2105 , i got to know that Academical years were divided into semisters.

I went directly to the college , had few words with the person sitting at admission counter .Then filled form for registration and payed Rs.1000 /- in advance as admission fee after confirming that the required branch is available . This was procedure followed in 2012.

Most of the faculty members have done masters in their respective fields and less experienced to be the faculty members. There are very few members who are more experienced in the teached profession. Their level of explaing and teaching used to be very good as they used to explain every thing in a practical way.
