A decent college

I was a diploma student and I joined my college after writing the entrance test ECET. After qualifying in the entrance exam, one has to apply for the college they wish to join through counselling and those students are eligible for fee reimbursement from the government of ap. After the counselling process, one will be notified about the placement in the college, and the student is required to carry the admit card which they can download from the official portal and all the rest of the necessary documents. In our college the first block is the admission block. So as soon as a student enters the premises, they find no difficulty to reach the admission section. And they will be guided with the rest of the procedure. For me, I was eligible for fee reimbursement so I paid only the admission fee which is around four thousand rupees.

I've always been passionate about working in IT companies as software developer. After I completed my 10th, there were two ways to reach where I want to go. One is Btech through intermediate and the other being Btech through diploma which I chose to go for. I chose CSE in diploma which is also the one I am studying now. Our lecturers were so helpful and very qualified for their respective subjects. All I expected is a qualitative learning which they delivered without any doubt. The student to staff ratio is sufficient. Teachers being able to solve the doubts even after the class timings is a cherry on top. As the last few years have been so difficult for all the academics due to coronavirus, the exams were on full swing ever since the colleges got opened. And our college is under the JNTUK which provides relevant curriculum time to time which is helpful for the students to learn what they have to learn during their course period.

For all these years, our college is well known for the placement offers. One of our senior got a big package and the average being around 6 lpa for all the students who got the placements. around 20 companies came for the campus drives over these years. And the students were also consistent in getting the placements. We get a recruitment training for that in our college itself. On a average each student got 5 to 6 offers in which the least package being 3.5 lpa and the highest being around 7 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed for jobs in increasing exponentially in our college. Nearly around 80 percent of the students are getting placed every year in IT companies. For me, even I want to work for a good IT company with good salary package.

As I was a student who is eligible for fee reimbursement, I wasn't happened to pay any fees, but anyone who is not eligible for such has to pay 51200 per year. The eligible students will get the total amount from the government itself in four instalments of 12800 per quarter. The students are required to pay the amount that gets credited to the accounts of their mothers to the college within the due time. The name of the government scheme is JVD(Jagananna Vidya Devena). And talking about the jobs we are currently under going a recruitment training which is taking place in our college itself, and there were also good company offers with good packages.

Our college has few memberships like IEEE and IETE for the students. Students who are interested in such can join by paying the required fee which costs only in the order of hundreds. These bodies also conduct cultural events like fests, expos and helping hands etc. We have a vast range of books available in our college library in which there are both reference and issue sections. Coming to the classrooms, they were not the best classrooms out there but they were satisfactory with required facilities like good ventilation and projectors. And we also have sports teams for football cricket and hockey etc. we have a big ground for all the games and sports. we have a basketball court too. Our college has included a student forum for the students which is handled by the students.
