SKCET 2016-2020 Experience

This is the Anna University affiliated college. Here the admission process based on marks obtained in 12th. Mark are the main eligibility to get the desired course if we are participating in a TNEA Government counseling or the Management quota is there, we can go to the college directly and we can obtain admissions for desired courses by having donation, that depends on the courses we choose and vary for courses. The application process are all depend on the way of approaching the college like, if we are participating in counseling means no need of direct application all the course list will be displayed in place of counseling or if we participating in Management quota the applications are all available in websites otherwise we can visit the college directly to avail admissions.

I have participated in counseling as my interest I got Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The benefit of choosing this course is of we can obtain core field or IT field depend on our knowledge. The faculty and student ratio are of huge for example 1:25 ratio. All are well knowledge and experienced with PhD and MSc in domain qualification. The teaching method are of best and material will be shared via classroom for the classes. The Lab facility and Library will be open for us to gain the knowledge. Coming to exam side, we have 8 Semester exam in 4years time gap. It will be conducted 6 months once 1 semesters and in-between 6 months internal exams will be conducted for easy mode of preparing for semester exam.

The college is providing the best placement opportunity from 3rd year 2nd Semester onwards and they preparing us how to attend interviews and aptitudes. From 3rd-4th year the companies will be coming regularly. Some of the companies are Soliton Technologies, Accenture, Aspire Syetems, Thoughtworks, Valuelabs, Questglobal, Amazon, CGI and etc. The package starts from 3,50,000 to 8,00,000. In 2016-2020 the average of 96% students got placed. The student should prepare for interviews to obtain higher packages and better compaines. I expect the campus placements and got selected in CGI, but some friends moved to higher studies depend on their plans. If in some condition didn't got jobs means, if we put effort for a month means we can place in a company.

The fees may vary for the batches. So while my period of 2016-2020 it is 1,00,000 for a year and it is fixed for 4 years. Meanwhile no fees will be collected inbetween a year apart from this. If you are first graduate student means some part of fees will be reduced from this. For bank loan also the college will provide bonafide it will be easy for us to eligible the loan process.

The college exposure and surroundings are well maintained with many trees and with greenish nature. The college receives the Clean and Smart Campus award from AICTE. Once in a year the fest will be conducted and it will be organised by the students and many tech fest will be conducted in college. The Library has many book varieties and the place is well maintained with silent exposure for reading purposes and the Systems are provided we can research with wifi facilities and air conditioned. Class will be taken by projector board and with good spacious for our seating purpose with many windows and fan for air ventilation. The ground is open for students to perform our things, so we can go to ground and there is sports room were all sports amenities will be provided. And social groups clubs will be maintained by students for many internal programs to explore.

The Hostel accommodation are provided with 4,2,1 members in a room. It can be chosen by us for our mode of relaxation. All are spacious with good ventilation and cleaning also will be done regularly in the floor. Hostel registration are all done while coming to the college in first day. The food also be nice and menu will be followed routinely with tiffin,meal,tiffin and snacks in evening. If we are not interested in hostel facility in college the rooms and PG are available in college surroundings(Kovaipudur, BK Pudur).
