The struggle of attendance

The college management is very uncooperative. No concernes about the cultural activities. Only attendance.

The entrance exam i gave was ipu cet. And i got 5499 rank in that. I opted for this college because i didn't get any college from jee mains and this was the best college i could get for my rank.

The course structure is really bad. There are most theory subjects with very less practical knowledge. Most focus is on getting marks rather than actually understanding the concepts. Also all the latest stuff is missing like python and objective.

No. The college doesn't provide any sort of internship. For any sort of internship, you need to work on your own.

The placements are fair. Not many big packages but most of the students gets placed. The average package is around 3-4 lakhs. The companies that come are HCl, TCS, etc. Many startups also came for placement. Urban clap also came and many students were placed there.

There's a techno-cultural fest. It is a 2 day fest. It's actually pretty good. With a star night and all sorts of cultural and technical events like dance events, music events, hackathon, etc. There's a management fest with many management events like b-plan.

It is feasible. It is around 1 Lakh per year. And it was a little higher in the first year because of security and ol. The fee structure includes academic fees, University fees, the book bank fees and the taxes. And the first year had security for the book bank books.

No. There are no scholarships or loans offered by the college. The college only gives some amount of money to the toppers.

The boy-girl ratio is pretty low. There are very few girls being an engineering college. There are many cultural societies like dramatics society, fashion society, dance society, music society, fine arts society, literary society. I don't know about dorm parties being a day scholar

The hostel is a girls only hostel and the boys have to stay in pg. I don't know about the hostel being a boy. But i have eaten in the hostel mess. And it is fine. The food is eatable not like the cliched mess food. There are many pg's in the area who's condition is good and the rest is not so high.

The seniors are very helpful. They are great. I can talk to them about anything i get stuck on, being it personal life or any college problem.

It's always a hectic day. Regular 7 hr classes. The exam structure is pathetic. Mostly theory based exam. Nothing practical is there. Also, the checking is highly irregular. There is one lab in a day. That too in the end.

Some teaches are good. Some are really bad. There is no consideration of cultural activities you do. They are only concerned about your attendance. Not many teachers are concerned about what you learn. All they want is that you attend classes, get good marks and get placed. Nobody talks about research work or post graduation.
