Honest and Recent Scenario of MIT,MANIPAL,2021-2022.

The step by step procedure of taking admission was held in a very processed and arranged way and was taken place in a AC centralized room with many faculties handling the process. Overall it took maximum 1 hour to complete all the process for admission at least for the year 2021-2022.

I took Data Science of course because I want to pursue my career in this field anyways and most importantly I love coding so that s why I opt and got the CSE sub branch. Faulty: Student ratio is like 5:10 which is very good as compared to other colleges as it goes around 3:10 in other colleges. Most of the teachers here have done their PHD or M tech from their respective subjects and are quite strict in terms of academics which is of course beneficial for students. The Teachers make use of PPTs more instead of blackboard for teaching except for the maths subject. The Exam schedule is very tight and total 4 exams are being held per semester including final one. And the duration of exam timing is kept very low which increases the difficulty level of the overall exam. So, whatever subject you pursue, you have to give a tough fight because of the exam level difficulty and of course because of some good students present in the class.

Many companies have come for internships. As far as I know, my 3rd year senior friend got placed in Flipkart through this internship in the year 2021 with a stipend of 20,000 per per month. If you come to Manipal, do join a student project or club which will boost your skills in that field from 1st year only.

The placement ratio here is of course a little less than other colleges but it doesn't matter because if u continue to score good in academics you will definitely get your place in placements. MIT offers many clubs and projects which you can join and master in whatever field you like, it gives u many opportunities. Companies like IBM,GOOGLE,AMAZON,FLIPKART also come to give u a chance. Almost 85% of the overall students get placements in a decent company. Manipal also offered you to go for higher studies from here only with many facilities providing to those students. It has almost every higher studies' branch to pursue on.

I got a scholarship of Rs.65,000 because of my rank in MET exam and because of my good performance(GPA) in 1st semester. So, if you get a good GPA in this college, don't worry about the fees. You will definitely get it refund anyhow within these 4 years.

Annual Fest of Manipal is one of the best fests and cultural events among other colleges and also the college life. We recently got the Fest 2022 where KK,Kenny Sebastian, Akash Gupta, and few more musician/bands had come and we enjoyed a lot really. Campus life is amazing here but of course with many distractions. So, You have to be in your own self control because where there is more freedom,there is more chance to get distracted from academics. Overall Block 5 and 6(for boys) especially will make u live in the actual hostel and feel what is a hostel life. Campus surroundings are full of greenery and yeah you have to walk a little more here because of the distance between hostels and NLHs is a bit distant. U have options to take buggy or cycles for rent but it s quite expensive for this distance. You have to wisely make your friends circle or it will be disaster for you. Many Bars, Clubs and distraction places are there near MIT where most of the students go and get drunk every weekend.

Hostel 5 and 6 for boys and hostel 1,2,3 and 7 for girls will make u feel the actual hostel life in MIT for 1st years.It costs around 98,000 Rs.per year for Non AC hostels and goes upto 1,65,000 for AC depending on whether you take single room or sharing. The new hostel blocks like 16,17 and 20 are way more far than these hostels and academic blocks. So,if u come to MIT choose the 1st 2 lines hostels accordingly. The Weather is very cool here so no need to worry about heat.You will feel a little more hear during days but at nights,it gets cold. Every night ,you have to enter within 10 pm at night for 1st years and do the biometric after coming to hostel. The food court is near to blocks 1,2,3 5,6 and 7 Food quality of MIT is eay much much better than other hostels na dyou will love it I am damm sure.So,overall you will not feel any problem after coming to MIT and your parents will also be satisfied with these facilities and accommodations.
