Overall the college is good as it rely on quality rather than quantity.The infrastructure is average. The management is always helpful and supporting in academics, organising events, implementing better ways to develop the students etc.
Entrance Preview
I appeared for XAT and my percentile was 56. So my admission process consist of Telephonic interview, case study, Skype interview, and than marking as per my previous academics percentage. After the overall procedure was completed i got more than 70 out of 100 and was selected for the admission procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. It includes different subjects related to management. Every students have to select their speciality in 2nd year. Dual specialization is provided in Taxila. The course also includes Start-up as a subject and has a incubation center of its own. Mancomm is other subject where the communication and presentation skill is tested.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college provide 100% internships to the students. This year i.e. 2017 there was internship for 45 days from January 16th and students were working as intern in both public and private sector enterprises.It depends on the choice of the students which industry they want to work as an intern. Stipends are definitely provided by the private sector enterprises apart from PSU's
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are great over here if a student works really hard and perform well. Moreover the minimum package is 6.6lacs and no companies below this is entertained by the college. Again SAP is introduced i.e. there is a SAP global certification course where the students who completes the certification will get a minimum placement of Rs.12lacs.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in our college to enhance the managerial skills of the students as this events are to be coordinated by them.Some of the events to be mentioned are:- Start-up India Rocks Seminar by Anuranjita Kumar Biggest job fair in Rajasthan Seminar on Demonetization and GST Guest lectures on Stock Market etc...
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is good as return on investment is achieved early. For PGDM the fee structure is Rs. 5,90,000/= for 2years and Rs.85,000/= per year as hostel charges. Again Taxila has signed MoU with Mokwon University,South Korea for MBA program The fee structure for the same is Rs.15lacs where 1year students will be in Taxila and the next year they will move to South Korea.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes loan facility is available from the nationalised banks as the college is AICTE approved. A particular student can avail loan as per the terms and conditions of the bank. The college provides all the necessary documents required to avail the loan.
Campus Life
The campus life is good. Though there is 9am to midnight classes goes on but on the free time students are allowed to explore the city with proper permission, There is swimming pool , Table Tennis where students can use their free time.So students are not only confined to studies.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good. A students get all the necessary stuffs(furniture, almirah, A.C.) with them in the hostel. The mess provides three times food - breakfast, lunch and dinner. A particular student has to share the room with 2 more students of same batch.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are really very great and we get motivation from them. there is a good relationship between the juniors and seniors. They are helpful and guides us well regarding different subjects and management skills to be adopted
Exam Structure
The exam all together consist of subjective, objectives, GD's, presentations, Viva's,along with the classroom performance. The minimum percentage individually is 50% that's need to be secured by a student. 70% weightage is given to classroom performance and 30% to written examination.
Admission
The admission procedure doesn't only depends upon the management entrance examination of the students. First of all the students must attain atleast 50% in graduation. Then there will be telephonic interview in case the student is far apart and can't visit the institute. Skype interview, case studies, GD and PI, again marks are alloted according to the performance of the students in 10th, 12th and graduation and finally the student who gets 70 out of 100 is selected.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is really very good. They believe in two way communication. The students not only attend the lectures but are also given different activities to carry on applying the theories discussed in the class. All the students are tested regularly on the topics taught previously.
