Remarks
The admission process was quite simple, you have to appear in Jee main and do uptu counselling, and if u are obc and between 82-90 percentile u can easily get Information technology branch in REC ABN, and above 75-78 percentile for obc you can get civil, electrical also. The scholarship was also available for all.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in coding that's why I choose this course here we don't have coding clubs, And we have approx 15 faculty per 60 students in a semester, almost all are mtech graduated from IITs. Term exams are very frequent but easy to pass if you give 2-3 days it's sufficient to get good marks.
Placement Experience
Yes, we have campus placement but it was low as 3.75 lakh average placement, most are going for master in technology from gate exam. And students actually selected with good ranks in gate exam like in 2021 my senior sir got under 200 rank in the gate. Approx 50-60% go and got placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
For btech yeah it's good like almost 63,300 rs college+hostel fee and 36,000 mess fees and total approx 4 lakh for complete btech 4-year course. And there UP scholarship which was given to all that was 56000 Rs for obc and general students. But there is no job you got on campus with a stipend.
Campus Life
There are many fests which occur in our college like kshitij, and tech fests but the fest was not compatible with IITs. In Library, they have almost all the books which you want related to stream and skills and timings was 9 to 5 for the library. Here we have a total of 5 clubs: Literary council, Technical council, Cultural council, Hobby Council, Sports council.
Hostel Facilities
There are a total of 7 hostels, 2 for girls and 5 for boys where in 3rd year have 2 hostel one for good CGPA students and other for remain students. Every hostel has 1 water cooler and 6 hot water geyser. Fee Structure: 10,000 Hostel + 31000 mess fees
