Remarks
You must have a decent rank in JEE Mains to get into MSIT, Delhi. If you want to be admitted to MSIT, you must put your eye on the GGSIPU website after your 12th examination for regular updates regarding admissions. The admission process of every college is divided into rounds of counseling, so be patient.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am an enthusiast of computer applications and algorithms and this course provides a lot of exposure to computers and their applications, so I decided to choose this course. Every student in MSIT has been assigned a Mentor who can help him/her throughout their B. Tech. in taking hard decisions and also providing mental support. Most of the faculty has done Ph.D. and they are pros in their respective fields of interest. Students are having exams every 2 to 3 months and they are of intermediate level. If you study a week ago for the exams, you will pass the exams. .
Internships Opportunities
Firstly, students try to get internships out of the college, but if you didn't get any then you can go for summer training offered by the college. You can go for a project in Web, Android, AI, ML, etc. as per your area of interest.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. The major recruiter is Infosys and 90% of the college placements are done in Infosys itself. The highest package is about 50LPA off-campus and goes from 10LPA to 20LPA. 90% of students get placements. Most of the students go for a Job after the B.Tech. degree from MSIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students have to pay 117000 tuition fees and some other expenses. The total fees sum up to 130000-140000. In college, we are having different scholarships as mentioned on the Delhi scholarships web portal in which you can get a 100%, 50%, or 25% refund of your tuition fees based on your scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
We are having an annual fest ENVA and a tech-fest Avensis. They both are conducted in April or May. The library is full of books and journals from which you can issue as many books you want to read. Classrooms have a proper sitting arrangement, proper ventilation, podium, etc. Classes are air-conditioned. The sports facility is not so good. Students are having different options when it comes to societies.
