My bittersweet journey of college

The admission process is very good as compared to other colleges I have gone to for admission Later on, I also get a scholarship on the OBC quota. I got admission through college level counselling because I didn't have very good marks. Cutoff was high

I didn't have a choice I had the last chance to take admission very few seats were available for me to take admission so I grab the opportunity. Faculty-student ratio in theory classes was 1:30 and in labs, it was 1:10. All the faculties were top-notch highly qualified but most of them were too cocky to deal with. Some faculty were supportive some were not. The attitude of faculties was not good except the few Midsem and exams were frequently conducted and the level of question paper was also very good If one can study they can pass but it was definitely worth it

A lot of companies came to our campus for the placement most of them were IT companies like TCS Infosys CSC Wipro Microsoft average package was 5 lac per year but some students got way higher in terms of package some were got offered 20lac and more. From 7th sem onwards campus placement started and almost 80% of students got placed in campus placement placements were the most satisfying in medicaps as I wanted to become an entrepreneur I quit the job and started my one firm and I'm doing very good. Making more money than ever and meeting great people. My plans included starting trading in stocks and start earning money while studying finance and sales and everything needs to become an entrepreneur

There were no fee hikes at that time. I got fee structure at the time of admission and fees never got increased but college charges fine all the time for little things. I easily got a scholarship. I didn't face any issues regarding job placement or campus. A lot of companies came to recruit freshers like TCS Wipro Infosys CSC were few of them

The annual tech fest that happens in medicaps is known as moonstone and it's amazing even celebrities came to give performances it was conducted in the month of January every year. There is a very big size library called the central library it's a 3 floored library and has huge verity of books students can read on practically any topic they Want I used to spend most of my time in the library it was peaceful there I read a lot of books which helped me in both my personal and professional life and I acquire a lot of knowledge from the library The classroom was spacious with big windows for light and air to flow very pleasant classes surrounded by trees. Beaches were new and well-maintained classes were dustfree too Sports and extracurricular activities were very frequently conducted at every events loved those extra curriculum activities Yes there are social groups and societies run by students in college and they are really helpful to blend with your seniors and juniors I made a lot of friends through these groups

I didn't stay in the hostel as I'm local my family stay in the same city but I visited some of my hostel friends and the room was clean spacious with large windows food quality was very good.. Food was delicious. The registration process is fairly easy you just needed to talk to the office. Affordability was an issue as it was not cheap rented room were more economical options but hostel facilities were very good no compromises were there in terms of good or cleanliness and college campus is very green with playground garden and library so it was worth the money

Yes, there were GD and personal interview rounds and written tests too. The question level was good and GD was very competitive. Yes I prepared for all the rounds and got placed in a company both admission and placement process was top notch
