Remarks
Admission is based on JEE mains. College accepts very low JEE ranks also so it's easy to get in. Apply for jee mains and also register in the GGSIPU counselling process to get admission. Reservation is provided for those who have a certificate for reservation. The admission process is easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose CSE because it is in demand. The market is always demanding for software engineers. the student-teacher ratio is around 1:60 The faculty is well qualified. Many of them are PhD holders and some of them are from nits and IITs also. The teaching method is as usual. According to academics, college is good. There are two mid-semester exams and the exams are based on what is taught in class. At the end of the semester, there are semester-end exams which are difficult.
Placement Experience
After the third year, you're available to get campus placements. Around 10-20 companies visit here. Highest package is 12 lac and the average package is 4 lac. 40% appx. Most students go for off-campus placements. I plan to study abroad for my master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay the fees after every year ends. The fees are around 100000. No additional cost until you go to the hostel. Government scholarships are available. Just fill out the form provided by the faculty in the first semester.
Campus Life
No annual fest is arranged by the college. University conducts it. Hackathons are done from time to time. the library is really good and has many books. You don't have to buy books for every semester, the library provides them to you. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Sports are not so much available here.
