Good college for BCA with nice placements

I gave the CET exam under IPU and after getting the rank chose the top 3 colleges for BCA which were Surajmal, IITM and VIPS at that time. I cleared all the cutoffs but chose IITm as I wanted the morning shift and it was more accessible from my home. After clearing the cutoffs, I applied for my choice of colleges and went for counselling with all the required documents that were asked while the counselling notification was sent. At the time of counselling, the management gave us some sheets to write down our future goals. And after that, we were asked to pay the fees and join college.

The BCA course curriculum was not updated at that time but it now has been updated as per my knowledge. Although the faculty members were very experienced and always ready to help the student if he/she needed any. In BCA, there were more males as compared to females.

There is an internship cell called Internware which is responsible for the internship fest of the college which is held every year where various companies and startups visit and offer internships in various fields like social media, digital marketing, web development, writing, journalism, programming, etc. The stipend ranges from unpaid to 15k per month.

There is a dedicated placement cell in our college which helps all the students in getting placements efficiently. Placements start around the 3rd semester and last till the 6th semester. But it will be better if the student gets placed as early as possible. In our batch, various companies visited like Deloitte, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. for various roles and designations. The highest package was around 6LPA for a sales role in Byjus and the average package range was 3LPA for tech profiles. Almost all students who opted for placements got placed by the end of the 5th semester.

The fee structure of the course was okay as per the quality of education provided. Students in need were eligible for financial assistance on the basis of various criteria. Even 100% scholarship is available. I got placed as a web developer in TCS.

College life is good if not great. Now the infrastructure has been changed and improved very nicely. The canteen food is average and vegetarian. All the classrooms are well equipped with projectors, boards, podium and AC. There are 2 libraries, one for students and one for faculties. Students can issue their books and get all the materials from libraries. The labs are also well equipped. There are various social groups and clubs for dancing, singing, acting, management, etc. for honing extra skills. Although the college has its sports club but the sports ground is not within the campus, students have to go to some other ground for sports activities.
