The admission to all the courses are done through jee mains cuttoff. You will get a branch in the college if you clear the jee mains cutoff and through DTE MP BE COUNSELLING. You can opt for the college when counselling start at DTE MP website. You have to get registered on DTE MP counselling website and do choice filling of colleges with branch preference.On the basis of your choice fillling college will be provided if you met the cutoff. Basically a rank about 1lack is neccesaary to get aleast IP branch and even less rank for other better engineering branches. Reservation are provided to all categories(OBC, SC, ST, Female, Sainik).The reservation reserves by government provided by governmnet to minority categories are provided with some other reservation like NRI reservation, Other state quota(5%), Freedom fighter, Sainik, Female(30%) quota. The admission process is well structured and well organised and need no improvement as many rounds are organised and all are done through MP DTE

I don't want electrical branch but my jee rank make me to accept it. But any branch in my college is not bad as their is enough time provided by the college to prepare for our goals. The faculty are all IIT Mtechs but most of the permanent faculty don't give much attention to the students. Mostly students are given freedom to prepare for the golas. Exams are organised regularly and effictivley in every semester. Due to some government issue their is some to problem of less no. Of faculty but now some new faculty are also been employed.

From 7th semester students can take on campus placements provided by different companies that visit are college. But you can try for off campus placements from 3 year. Mostly companies are TCS, Infosys, HCL and some more companies. Mostly IT companies visit our college so for any branch if you need placements you need to Study Programming. The average package in our college is 3.5 lacks/yr while highest on campus placement can go to 12-15 lacks. While last year one of our senior get 52 lacks CTC package off campus. Mostly 80% CS-IT students get placed and other branches students if they are good in programming. I am opting for the on-campus placements as I am from electrical but studying programming.

My college provide all scholarship provided by MP and central government. That is Medhavi Yojana, Sambala yojana, OBC scholarship, SC ST scholarships etc. As the few of the college is too low mostly no one need any financial assistance. All the few qe pay to the college came back through the scholarship. From my own stats, nearly 90% students in our college get their whole fees back with nearly paying ?0 for their degree. Only money you have to spend is ?2200 for your Mess. Many IT companies came to our college for placements and students get job if they have knowledge about programming from any branch.

Their are many groups or clubs run by our college seniors that are RAAG CLUB, THEATRE CLUB, JLUG(LINUX) CLUB, karwaan society(providing education and stuff to poor children) and many fest are regularly organised in our college(AAVAHAN, AUEROLE) etc. Many seminars are created in our college auditorium. Our college maintain an website named as JEC website in which all students are provided with college ID and password.

Our college have 8 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel with moslty capacity of 80 students per hostel. The hostel fees is only 2000/-per year. The room is provided with one fan, table, bed, chair, one wall almirah. 7 boys hostels are for BTech students and 1 Hostel for Mtech students. All year students live in seperate hostels as 1st year in one hostel and other year on other hostels. Mess is provided in the hostel itself with about 2200/- per month food costs. The quality is average but you can opt for tiffins Or outside food if you don't want to eat in mess. It's all on your choice. Hostel are provided on the basis of the jee ranks and through some reservation to minority categories. You can also rent room near the college as locality is good near the college.
