Remarks
Admission process needs to be more exam or test based,or based on Jee score or board's score. Even at the end of admission process no students scoring less marks should be taken in this will improve more the quality of students and their results.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer Science as I was always a tech enthusiast and this is a blooming sector nowadays. Here,the faculty members are well educated and trained with atleast 7-10 years of experience. Student faculty ratio is quite enough (1:20). They are always helpful and gives proper guidance to students and teaching methods are updated according to current scenario. Exams are very regular with one being held every month followed by a pre University test and a final exam each semester. Cultural and literary events are held frequently.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided from 3rd year onwards which may be paid or unpaid. In second year also internships are provided which is optional. Students are provided with projects to work upon with proper guidance under mentors. It can be work from home or office work. In computer science projects related to AI,ML,Data analysis, Cybersecurity etc are provided. Companies such as TCS, Infosys IBM,HCL,syscom, Capgemini provides these opportunities
Placement Experience
In the college there is a proper dedicated placement cell consisting of a Center of excellence which provides specific placement training to students. Placements have improved a lot during COVID and after it. Average placement has increased now it's 5-6 lakhs per annum. Almost whole batch from all departments are placed with proper packages. Internships are also provided in 3rd year Btech.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided at the time of admission on the basis of a student's performance in board exam or jee exam. After first year's performance of students scholarships is further extended. Also there is a provision of TFW seats from jee exam for students. These help a lot. The college also provides assistance in case any student opts for loan.
Campus Life
There are many departmental and inter college clubs which helps students take part in co curricular activities and engage themselves in their holistic growth. Clubs are for coding, literary, theatre,dance, instruments also cybersecurity is the New club. Sports activities are very much frequent due to proper courts and grounds available. They include inter college,intra college, zonal etc.
