One has to give a Common entrance test for polytechnic and based on the rank college is allotted and further admission process is carried out at the premises. 27% of seats are reserved for OBC candidates. Other than that there were not many benefits to avail. One has to fill out the form at the college website after the allotment of college and fees is being paid. The application process usually occurs from April-June.

I had my interests in the technical field. Also, I have non-medical in my 12th so I opted for this course and it provides good opportunities in future. Faculty: student ratio - 10:100. The faculty is well qualified most of the professors are PhD and some are also IITians. - Exams occur in two terms first during oct-nov and the other in April-may. One has to work hard and study hard to score good marks in the exams.

Students can get placements in the last 1-2months of their course. Companies like Infosys, TPDDL, Amazon, Flipkart, and Capgemini came for placements. Packages ranged from 2.5lac - to 10lac. - Percentage of students ranging from 80-95% got placement in good companies. - I did my job in TPDDL for one year after that I opted for another course.

Fees were very reasonable as it was only 6K for one year. So the cost for study based on the opportunities they provide is very good. Otherwise, it also depends on whether it's a government institution or private, mine was govt so the fees were also cheap. Scholarships were provided for meritorious students who score more than 80%. Other criteria were also there. Good jobs are provided on campus as I have done mine in Tata power Delhi distribution limited after completing the course.

The campus life is not much as no fests were there but it might have changed now as more courses have been added. Books and journals could be easily found in Library and also some books we have to purchase from outside. The classrooms were kind of old but clean and hygienic. Overall good - Extra curricular activities were not so much but I've known about drama club was there.
