Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.com hons because Shri Shikshayatan College is one of the best-reputed colleges in Kolkata. Moreover, the crowd is more in commerce departments rather than any other streams. The teachers teach from PPT and some give real-life examples to teach you. The term exams are easy to pass and they notify you a week or two before the exams.
Placement Experience
As mentioned earlier the placement opportunity takes place for 3rd-year students. If you are pursuing anything besides B.com you get brownie points. As a result, your placement package receives a hike. The package is solely dependent on the type, job profile and knowledge of you and your company you would be working with.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of studying here is Rs 25000+ convenience fee. Regarding internships, the college doesn't provide you with one till 2nd year. Opportunities are greater for 3rd-year students. A lot of seminars and e-sessions took place to guide students for their future.
Campus Life
The annual fest is generally conducted during the winter season. The library is commendable here. You can sit there and study. If you want you can issue the book and take it to your home. Return it within 10 days otherwise, you would be charged Rs 1 per day as a fine. The college offers you to participate in games like chess, Badminton, carrom etc. provided you pay the registration fee.
