It was merit-based. Details regarding the admission form and dates are given on the website. While filling up the form, the application fees are stated. I have no reservation benefits. I don't think any kind of improvement is required.
Course Curriculum Overview
JU has a very good faculty. It gives a lot of exposure to the students as it conducts various national and international seminars. That is why it was my first choice. We had 5-6 professors to cover our course syllabus. The faculties are all PhD holders and are visiting professors to many international universities as well. Exams were always held on time and passing was easy if concepts understood properly.
Internships Opportunities
NGOs and MNCs offer internships. Many projects related to social issues come. Even research projects are also there that students can help their professors with. Even one can research assistant job after the prpjects.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester, students can avail themselves of placement. Different NGOs visit for my course and MNCs as well. An average of 2-3 LPA is offered. Maximum students get places. I chose to pursue on digital marketing and content writing field.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike. In JU we have to give minimal fees per year. I had no scholarship. My finance was completely from home. Placement did not happen as I passed out in the year 2020. It was the pandemic time and we could not go to campus.
Campus Life
We have Sanskriti starting from March with different student unions. There are a lot of books available in the library, so we face no issue. Even we get access to JStor. The classroom is well-equipped. Sports are held actively. There are different activity groups that one can join.
