If you want to take admission in engineering colleges you will have to take entrance exams, I gave KCET that is Karnataka Common entrance test. I got 2561 rank and choose civil engineering in this college as it was near to my home.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum in all the engineering colleges remains same but facilities, faculty and administration keep it different from other colleges and my college was also one of them. First-year course curriculum provides basic info of engineering and as we move forward it gets deeper and includes a deep knowledge of the course in which we have opted specialization.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities were not so good at my time there were only a few companies that come at our college campus and package was also good. Some of the companies were IBM, Syntel, HGS, finserv.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees of engineering colleges are decided by the concerned authority that is CET, at my time it was around 24000 per annum and varies each year. but college also takes some other fees that include transportation fee, laboratory fee and some others.
Fees and Financial Aid
There were scholarship opportunities also but I didn't get that because my academic record was not good, but college sponsor students to get a loan from banks at cheaper rates.
Campus Life
My campus life went awesome, there was a good cafeteria near to the college where we usually go and chill out with friends. I was also a member of our college cricket team, on the matter of study it went normal.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, College provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys but I did not applied for hostel because my home was nearby the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network of the college is good, we are invited to come to college on several occasions where we stand a chance to meet our college mates and interact with juniors.
Exam Structure
The course is of four years divided into 8 semesters, and college conducted exams in each semester. I don't know how the first semester went it was one that I want to forget, but in subsequent semester I worked hard and started scoring good marks.
Faculty
Faculties of the college were very helpful, qualified and skilled especially HOD's, They were the teacher's by whom we learned a lot and gained deep knowledge of engineering.
